CAIRO – Al-Masry of Port Said claimed a crucial win over Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, NBE Club salvaged a draw against ZED FC, and Haras el-Hodood continued their strong form with victory over Enppi in the 12th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

At Borg el-Arab Stadium, Al-Masry took the lead in the 20th minute when Karim Bambo found the net with a precise shot past Al-Ittihad goalkeeper Sobhi Suleiman, following a well-timed pass from Khaled el-Ghandour.

Bambo doubled his tally in the 71st minute, converting an assist from Tunisian forward Fakhreddine Ben Youssef. Al-Ittihad responded in stoppage time with striker Youssef Osama Nabih heading home a late consolation goal.

With this result, Al-Masry climbed to fourth place with 22 points (six wins, four draws, and two losses), while Al-Ittihad dropped to 13th with 14 points (three wins, three draws, and six losses).

At Arab Contractors Stadium, NBE Club and ZED FC played out a 1-1 draw.

ZED FC took the lead in the 72nd minute through Shady Hussein’s penalty, but NBE Club equalized in stoppage time when striker Ahmed Yasser Rayan found the net.

NBE Club now sits eighth with 18 points, while ZED FC holds 11th place with 15 points.

At El-Max Stadium in Alexandria, Haras el-Hodood extended their strong run with a 1-0 victory over Enppi.

The decisive goal came in the 86th minute when midfielder Mohamed Ashraf converted a penalty following a VAR-confirmed handball by an Enppi defender.

This marked Haras el-Hodood’s fourth win in five league matches, lifting them to sixth place with 18 points from 12 games. Enppi stayed in 16th place with seven points.

At Cairo’s Sports Authority Stadium, Talaa el-Geish and El-Gouna played to a goalless draw.

Talaa el-Geish moved up to 10th place with 16 points, while El-Gouna remained 17th with seven points.

Ghazl el-Mahalla earned a determined 2-1 win over Modern Sport.

Amr el-Gazzar put Mahalla ahead in the 11th minute, but Mohamed Hilal equalized for Modern Sport from the penalty spot in the 40th minute. The winner came in the 83rd minute, courtesy of Mohamed Ali Ben Hamoud’s well-taken strike.

With this result, Ghazl el-Mahalla climbed to 15th place with 11 points (three wins, two draws, and seven losses), while Modern Sport remained in 18th place with seven points (one win, four draws, and seven defeats).

At Arab Contractors Stadium, Pharco FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ceramica Cleopatra.

Forward Amr Nasser put Pharco ahead in the 23rd minute, but their lead was short-lived as central midfielder Islam Eissa equalized for Ceramica Cleopatra just five minutes later.

The decisive goal came early in the second half when midfielder Mohamed Fakhry found the net in the 52nd minute, sealing the win for the Alexandria-based side.

With this result, Pharco FC moved up to seventh place with 18 points, while Ceramica Cleopatra slipped to fifth with 19 points.
