Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on Saturday handed over three Israeli hostages to the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in Deir al-Balah city in central Gaza.
Al-Qassam Brigades handed over Eli Sharabi, Ohad Ben Ami and Or Levy, who were held captive since October 7, 2023 as part of the fifth batch of phase one of the ceasefire agreement and exchange of prisoners.
According to WAFA, the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) announced late on Friday that Israel is set to release 183 Palestinian detainees on Saturday as part of the fifth batch of Palestinian detainees to be freed under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Israel is set to release 183 Palestinian detainees today, including 111 from the Gaza Strip who were detained after the onset of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
The Commission and PPS published the names of the prisoners set to be released. The list includes detainees of various ages and sentences.
