Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli gave directives to the Ministry of Social Solidarity to disburse EGP 10 million to Ahl Masr Burn Hospital within the framework of the government’s support.
This came during Madbouli’s inspection on Saturday to a number of hospitals, including the new premises of Ahl Masr Burns Hospital in New Cairo.
Madbouli was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi, Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber Khalil and Founder and Head of Board of Trustees of the hospital Heba el Sewedy.
Madbouli lauded the medical and humanitarian role of the hospital in saving lives of the victims of burns and easing their suffering via providing them with the necessary high-quality medical care.
For her part, Morsi asserted that the directives of the premier will be implemented immediately, pointing out that the total support presented to the hospital until now is EGP 34 million.
Meanwhile, Abdel Ghaffar said that the hospital is an addition to the health sector in Egypt as it has high potentials and techniques for burns treatment.
He reiterated integration among all hospitals of various state sectors whether governmental or private, pointing out to paying attention to the file of curing burns via upgrading and increasing the departments of burn treatment at hospitals of the Health Ministry.
