Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi visited the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) on Monday. The visit marked his participation in the Eastern Christmas celebrations, where he extended warm greetings to Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese, as well as to Coptic Christians across the nation.

Addressing the congregation briefly, President Sisi acknowledged the anxieties that have arisen over past years, emphasizing that challenges were faced peacefully. “I am speaking to the world through you,” the president said, adding that the love among Egyptians continues to grow stronger. He reassured the attendees of his commitment to serving with honor and integrity, stating, “If the person responsible for you is a bad person, fear for your country. But, thank God, nothing like this exists.”
