EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering has successfully renewed its ISO certifications for Quality Management (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2015), and Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO 45001:2018). The achievement follows a rigorous audit conducted by Intertek, the certification body, which confirmed the company’s compliance with international standards.
The certifications aim to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient aircraft maintenance services in line with global best practices. They also highlight the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and the development of its workforce.
Eng. Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, praised the staff for their dedication, stating, “This accomplishment underscores the importance of maintaining these high standards amid the challenges facing the aviation sector.”
Eng. Ibrahim Fathi, Chairman of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering, emphasized the importance of these certifications.
Fathi added, “Renewing these certifications reaffirms our unwavering commitment to delivering top-quality and safe aircraft maintenance services, enhancing EgyptAir’s international reputation. This success is a testament to the dedication and collaborative efforts of our teams.”
The audit, which covered all company operations, concluded without any findings, marking the tenth consecutive year of ISO 9001:2015 certification renewal and the sixth year for ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
The inspection team commended the staff’s awareness of management systems and the effectiveness of internal monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. This recurring achievement reflects the company’s steadfast adherence to global standards and its proficiency in applying best practices in aircraft maintenance.
