CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hossam Heiba on Thursday discussed with officials of the ACCESS Health International prospective cooperation to lure fresh investments in the health sector.
This came during a meeting with CEO of ACCESS Health International Krishna Reddy and Regional Director of ACCESS Health International for MENA Region Hala Zaid.
Heiba reviewed incentives dedicated for investment in Egypt’s health sector, which duplicate when investments come in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
The CEO of ACCESS Health International said that the group seeks to contribute to enhancing the role of investment in improving the healthcare system in Egypt along with promoting investment opportunities in the Egyptian health sector.
Both parties agreed to promote investment in Egypt through ACCESS Health network that comprises more than 100 international partners.
They also agreed to cooperate on outlining an interactive map for health investment in Egypt to highlight investment opportunities in medical tourism, establishing medical institutions, pharmaceutical industries, vaccines, medical devices as well as medical insurance services.
Meanwhile, the regional director of ACCESS International said that the group opened its office in Cairo to promote cooperation with both the public and private sectors and improve the health services provided to Egyptian people.
ACCESS Health International is a non-profit think tank, advisory group and implementation partner dedicated to transforming health systems globally.
