A documentary was screened about the Decent Life initiative which costs over LE700 billion and serves half of Egypt’s 100 million population.
The documentary affirmed that the initiative aims at providing decent housing for citizens in rural areas and achieving economic, social and cultural leaps.
Alex Stephany, founder and chief executive of Beam company which offers services for the displaced and the poor, said that his company works to reduce poverty level in his country, the United Kingdom.
Stephany added that he has relations of friendship with many poor persons in the United Kingdom, pointing out that 80 per cent of users of his company’s platform found jobs.
