Russian President Vladimir Putin asserted the agenda of the BRICS will include issues of sustainable development, peaceful settlement of conflicts, fighting against terrorism and transborder crime, measures against poverty, climate change, the stability of supplies chains, as well as exchanges of technologies and knowledge, according to the Russian news agency TASS.
“In other words, the topics that directly influence the life of people in our countries and require collective efforts,” he said
The neighboring and friendly countries that are interested in joining BRICS were invited to the event, Putin said in his word addressing Outreach/BRICS Plus on Thursday.
