Egypt’s Minister of Religious Endowments (Awqaf), Osama Al-Azhari, representing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Azhari conveyed President El-Sisi’s congratulations and the best wishes of the Egyptian people on Prabowo’s inauguration as President of Indonesia.
Minister Al-Azhari highlighted the strong, historical ties between Egypt and Indonesia, expressing confidence that partnership between the two countries will witness significant growth under the leadership of both President El Sisi and President Prabowo.
He emphasised Egypt’s early recognition of Indonesia’s independence and the lasting friendship between the two nations.
For his part, President Prabowo thanked President El Sisi for his kind congratulations and expressed his appreciation for Minister Al-Azhari’s presence as a representative.
