Egyptian Ambassador to Italy Bassam Rady asserted that the Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome is an important institution that presents different cultures and arts as soft powers, adding that it reflects the importance of ancient Egyptian civilization and Romanian civilization.
This came during inaugurating the activities of the new cultural and artistic season of the academy 2024/2025 under the rubric “let’s go to Egypt” in the presence of ambassadors of Arab countries.
Rome is the capital of art, beauty and creativity, Rady said.
Meanwhile, Director of the academy Rania Yehia asserted that the academy is playing a pioneering and historic role in building bridges of cultural and diplomatic exchange between Egypt and Italy via spreading that awareness of with the civilization identity and qualifying artistic cadres between both countries.
