CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted the importance attached by the Egyptian state to develop its space infrastructure via intensified investment in the human capital and scientific renovation to promote international space arena and support national aspirations.
This came on Wednesday during Madbouli’s meeting with CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) Sherif Sedqi to follow up a number of files.
During the meeting, Sedqi asserted that there are strategic goals by the Egyptian state in the field of localising space technology which is a main axis to achieve sustainable development in the different pivotal fields, pointing out to the Egyptian efforts aiming at employing space data in making strategic decisions.
Sedqi reviewed the unique potentials of the EgSA including upgraded and modern labs, shedding light on the most prominent international partnerships which promote the efforts of the agency.
