NAIA Developments Efficiently Meets First Phase Construction Targets for North Coast Project in August

Naia Developments has announced a significant acceleration in construction progress at its flagship project, Naia Bay, located in Ras El Hekma on the North Coast. During a recent media tour, the company showcased its commitment to delivering the first phase of the project by the summer of the following year.

The tour provided a comprehensive overview of Naia Bay, highlighting its unique features, diverse amenities, and progress on various construction fronts.  Attendees had the chance to explore the Pelagio Townhouse unit within the first phase of ‘Naia Bay,’ showcasing fully completed townhouses.

This marks a significant milestone for Naia, reaffirming our commitment to fulfilling our promises to our valued customers by delivering units on schedule and adhering to the highest quality standards.

One of the most popular units featured during the tour was Hali the Floating Townhouse, renowned for its innovative design and wooden deck directly floating over the crystal lagoon. This distinctive feature offers residents a truly unique living experience. Since its launch, Hali the Floating Townhouse has been a best-seller, combining luxury with nature and providing breathtaking views.

Naia has also partnered with Accor, one of the top three global leaders in the hospitality industry, to operate the first two hotels in Ras El Hekma within Naia Bay. This collaboration further enhances the project’s appeal and ensures world-class hospitality services for residents and guests.

Mohamed Farag, Vice Chairman of the Commercial Sector at Naia Developments, expressed his gratitude for the media’s continued support and highlighted the company’s commitment to accelerating construction activities across the project.

He emphasized that Naia’s construction arm capabilities enable year-round operations and efficient project execution, even amid challenges such as climate change and economic fluctuations.

Farag also mentioned that Naia’s vision for the location of ‘Naia Bay’ is rooted in a deep understanding of the North Coast’s future developments. He explained “Our extensive experience and keen foresight have led us to identify the immense potential of Ras El Hekma.

Strategically chosen for its prime location, we believe this area will experience significant growth in the coming years, driven by modern infrastructure and advanced projects that will solidify its position as a premier investment and residential hub.”

‘Naia Bay’ is situated in a highly distinguished area on Ras El Hekma coast, surrounded by major cities such as Dabaa, Marsa Matrouh, and El Alamein. Moreover, its proximity to key North Coast roads, such as the new Fouka Road which has reduced the distance between Cairo and El Alamein from 240km to 140km, and its location at kilometre 212 on the Alexandria-Matrouh Road, near El Alamein Airport (30 minutes) and Matrouh Airport (50 minutes), further underscores its strategic advantage.

Naia Bay spans 470,400 square meters and offers a diverse range of villas, townhouses, and chalets. The project units feature stunning waterfront views, whether beachfront villas or directly overlooking the crystal lagoon, along with a variety of recreational amenities, providing residents with a luxurious and relaxing lifestyle.

The company has also collaborated with international partners such as crystal Lagoons, a global leader in crystal lagoon technology, and renowned architectural firms like Ökoplan Engineering Consultations and El Ghoniemi Architects. These partnerships ensure that Naia Bay incorporates the latest innovations and design trends.

Engineer Ashraf Saeed, Head of Engineering, highlighted the completion of all infrastructure contracts, including networks, cables, supply and irrigation pipes, drainage, handrails, transformer boards, ballasts, and formwork. All of these have been sourced from Turkey.

Additionally, crystal lagoons, meters, swimming pool equipment, ceramics, PVC sections, and treatment and desalination plants have been procured. Currently, on-site work is progressing at maximum capacity to meet the company’s targets and adhere to the delivery schedule for the first-phase units. This is being achieved by collaborating with top-tier contractors and suppliers for all project materials, whether sourced locally or imported.

He emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering the highest quality standards and adhering to the project’s timeline. Saeed highlighted that the master plan, spanning 112 acres, will feature 720 residential units and 250 hotel units.

Constructed on terraced levels with a 3-meter elevation difference between each, the units are spaced 6 meters apart. The project offers a unique combination of a 300-meter beachfront with a depth of 200 meters and expansive Crystal Lagoons totaling 45,000 square meters

Notably, 91% of the villas are designed as family units, ensuring low density and providing residents with enhanced comfort and luxury. With all units offering either sea or lagoon views, coupled with the project’s breathtaking natural landscapes, this development promises an unparalleled living experience.
