Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid el- Falih on Monday said Egyptian-Saudi relations are role model of close Arab cooperation, given the strategic depth of ties between the two countries, their effective partnership and common interest.
Falih added that Egyptian Prime Minister Moustaf Madbouli’s visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabi, reflects deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia at all levels.
The leadership of Egypt and Saudi Arabia are keen on upholding close bilateral relations, that are deemed cornerstone of the Arab world and economy in the Middle East, the Saudi investment minister said.
Egypt is among Saudi Arabia’s key partners, with trade exchange between the two countries recording more than 124 billion Saudi riyals between the two years of 2022 and 2023, Falih said, adding that the Egyptian market is a favorable destination for Saudi Arabia.
“In Saudi Arabia, we believe that promoting cooperation with Egypt will be a win-win situation for both economies that represent the core of the Arab economy,” Falish said.
He added that cooperation and integration between the two countries and utilizing the competitive advantages of both of them would contribute to enhancing economic growth across the region, especially in light of massive global economic changes.
