Nile University has marked a historic milestone by establishing Egypt’s inaugural University International Advisory Board. The board, conceived by Prof. Mahmoud Mohieldin, Chair of the Board of Trustees, is designed to elevate the university’s global standing and amplify its educational and research excellence.
The International Advisory Board, guided by the university’s Board of Trustees, aims to support Nile University’s strategic ambitions by driving innovation and fostering international collaborations. Composed of eminent figures from various sectors worldwide, the board is set to play a pivotal role in advising the university’s leadership on critical academic, research, and institutional development matters.
One of the board’s standout features is the diverse and global background of its members. With representatives from Latin America, North America, Europe, Africa, the Far East, and the Arab World, the board brings together a wealth of experience and insight to guide Nile University into a broader international arena.
On September 6th, the board held its inaugural hybrid meeting, hosted at Nile University’s campus in Giza and connected online. The meeting saw participation from four members of the university’s Board of Trustees and three senior university officials. Discussions focused on the university’s strategic goals, ongoing projects, and provided valuable recommendations on global partnerships, quality assurance, and enhancing the university’s international ranking and positioning.
Prof. Mohieldin and Prof. Wael Akl, President of Nile University, expressed their excitement about the board’s formation. “The establishment of the International Advisory Board is a landmark achievement for Nile University and a testament to our commitment to global excellence. We are privileged to welcome such a distinguished group whose collective expertise will be instrumental in shaping our future,” they stated.
