CAIRO – Egyptian Agriculture Minister Alaa Farouk said Wednesday that the political leadership in Egypt pays great attention to boosting co-operation with India.
Egypt is seeking to benefit from the advanced technology of the Indian agricultural sector, which is known for its high-quality and productive plants, Farouk said in a meeting with Indian Ambassador in Cairo Ajit Gupte.
The minister urged unified action to achieve common interests and enhance agricultural trade exchange between the two countries.
Gupte posted Farouk on the advanced technology adopted by his country in the field of agriculture. He said drones are used in agricultural operations and pest control.
They agreed on the importance of agricultural industrialisation, given its great advantages and economic returns.
