Eng. Walid El Kafif, Chairman of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering, emphasised that this collaboration not only strengthens the company’s ability to offer world-class maintenance services to its clients but also supports the growth of Africa’s aviation industry, which requires more partnerships to reach its full potential.

The partnership with Airbus will enable EgyptAir Maintenance to expand its range of services for Airbus aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft unit repairs, and technical support. These developments are expected to benefit EgyptAir’s clients and contribute to the overall advancement of the aviation sector across Africa.

Mikail Houari, President of Airbus Africa and Middle East, expressed pride in deepening the partnership with EgyptAir through this new agreement. He reiterated Airbus’ commitment to expanding maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities in Africa and the Middle East. Houari added that the partnership aims to raise maintenance standards and support sustainable growth in the aviation sector, while building a stronger, more resilient aviation ecosystem in Egypt for years to come.
