UNICEF Spokesperson Ricardo Pires asserted that the conditions of children in Gaza are terrible and deteriorating.
Speaking to Al Qahera El Ikhbariya, he highlighted their psychological suffering due to consecutive shocks and the spread of diseases and malnutrition.
He said about 2 million people, half of them children, left the enclave since the outbreak of the war.
He referred to the sharp shortage of humanitarian assistance in the Gaza Strip despite the efforts of some countries and international humanitarian assistance.
