BEIRUT, Aug 21 (MENA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that four citizens were killed and six others were injured in Israeli raids on towns in southern Lebanon.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (PHEOC) announced Wednesday that the death toll from the two Israeli raids on the town of Dhahirah reached four martyrs, in addition to two wounded.
The center said a person was injured as a result of an Israeli raid on the Wadi Hamoul area, explaining that when three paramedics from the Civil Defense of the Islamic Health Authority came to his aid, the occupation army deliberately targeted them, resulting into the three being moderately injured and damaging the ambulance they were on board.
In this context, Israeli warplanes carried out an air aggression by launching three successive raids targeting the town of Aita al-Shaab in the Bint Jbeil district, in addition to launching a raid with an Israeli march targeting the town of Hula.
The Lebanese Hizbollah announced that its air defense unit responded to an Israeli warplane that violated Lebanese airspace in the southern region with a surface-to-air missile, forcing it to retreat towards the occupied Palestinian territories.
Hezbollah also targeted the Birket Risha site with heavy artillery shells, hitting it directly, in addition to bombing the Yara barracks (the headquarters of the 300th Western Brigade) with Katyusha rockets.
He launched an air attack with swarms of assault marches on the headquarters of the 7th Armored Brigade of the 210th Golan Division in the Katsaviya Barracks, targeting the locations and settlements of its officers and soldiers and hitting its targets accurately.
