Egyptian Ambassador to Japan Mohamed Abu Bakr has emphasized strong and distinguished ties between Egypt and Japan, which have been elevated last year to the level of strategic relations.
The ambassador made the remarks while delivering a speech during a reception organized to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.
The celebration was attended by Japan’s Minister for Digital Transformation Taro Kono, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Tsuge Yoshifumi, a host of Japanese officials and Egyptian diplomats.
Ambassador Abu Bakr conveyed greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Emperor of Japan, the Japanese people, as well as members of the Egyptian community in Japan.
