Social media users spoke last week about US President Joe Biden using his positive Covid-19 diagnosis to make fun of Republican opponent Donald Trump and Elon Musk; photos and videos of the wedding of the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man and his longtime girlfriend as well as Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of Dubai’s ruler, being the talk of social media after announcing her divorce from her husband Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

I am sick: US President Biden mocks Donald Trump, Elon Musk

US President Joe Biden used his positive Covid-19 diagnosis to make fun of Republican opponent Donald Trump and Elon Musk on Wednesday.“I’m sick,” Biden posted on  his X account on Wednesday evening, soon after news circulated of his testing positive for Covid-19. However, he followed that up with another post that continued: of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election. And if you agree, pitch in here. That post included photos of Musk and Trump, along with a link to a donation site for the Biden campaign.Musk supported Trump for the 2024 presidential election after a gunman opened fire on the former president at a rally in Pennsylvania. “ I fully endorse Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” Musk posted on X.It’s worth mentioning that Musk has repeatedly attacked Biden on X for his age and immigration policies, but has often posted statements of endorsement for Trump on the social media platform.

Breathtaking wedding of son of Asia’s richest man

Last week, photos and videos of the wedding of the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man and his longtime girlfriend circulated on social media and grabbed all attention. The wedding, described as the wedding of the year, was attended by global celebrities, business tycoons and politicians, highlighting the billionaire’s staggering wealth and rising clout. The four-day wedding celebrations began Friday with the traditional Hindu wedding ceremony and followed by a grand reception.Among attendees was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who newlyweds touched his feet as a show of respect and sought his blessings.Television news channels showed the arrivals of celebrities like Kim Kardashian, who was dressed in red, and professional wrestler and Hollywood actor John Cena.The celebrations of Anant Ambani marrying Radhika Merchant took place at the Ambani-owned Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai and the family home. The marriage culminated months of wedding events that featured performances by pop stars including Rihanna and Justin Bieber.

 “As you are occupied, I divorce you”: daughter of Dubai’s ruler posted on IG

 Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of Dubai’s ruler, was the talk of social media after announcing her divorce from her husband Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. She posted on Instagram a post that reads “Dear Husband, as you are occupied with other companies, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”They unfollowed each other, deleting the photos in which they appeared together, including their wedding photos.They got married in April 2023 and they were gifted by their first daughter in May 2024.

French defender Leny Yoro joins Man United

Manchester United announced the signing of 18-year-old French defender Leny Yoro from Lille on Thursday.The France Under-21 centre back cost a reported 62 million euros ($68 million) with 8 million euros in performance-related add-ons. He has agreed a five-year deal with the option of a further 12 months.He is United’s second signing of the transfer window after Netherlands forward Joshua Zirkzee joined from Bologna.“Leny is one of the most exciting young defenders in world football; he possesses every attribute needed to develop into a top-class centre back,” said Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth.“Having had such an excellent start to his career, we are excited to support him in reaching his immense potential here at Manchester United,” Ashworth added.United said the deal was subject to Yoro’s registration going through.
