Egypt’s national football team, currently out of action, have maintained their 36th position in the latest FIFA global football rankings, as announced on Thursday, 18 July.

In June, the Pharaohs slightly climbed in June’s FIFA rankings after securing a victory over Burkina Faso and a draw with Guinea-Bissau in the African 2026 World Cup qualifiers group stage, moving from 37th to 36th place.

Among African countries, Egypt currently holds the third position, trailing behind Morocco (14th) and Senegal (19th).
