PORT SAID – Egyptian Communications and Information Technology Minister Amr Talat said on Monday efforts are under way to digitalise the registration of all public property in Port Said as part of a national strategy to set up a full data base documenting state-owned assets.
This is the biggest national project in the governorate after the end of digital transformation programmes, he added.
He said the project requires coordination of all bodies concerned and it guarantees full information on all state-owned assets in the governorate.
The minister gave the remarks during a visit to Port Said where he opened three post offices.
He lauded efforts of executive bodies in the governorate to render digital transformation mechanisms a success.
A documentary film featuring accomplishments of the governorate over the past few years was screened during the visit.
