Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued decrees Wednesday, appointing General Mohamed Zaki as assistant to the president for defense affairs, Lt. Gen. Osama Askar as presidential advisor for military affairs and Counselor Omar Marwan Arafa as director of the president’s office.
Sisi also appointed Major Gen. Mohsen Mahmoud Abdel-Nabi and Dr Hala Helmy Younis as presidential advisors for media and economic affairs, respectively.
