RAMALLAH – Israeli settlers stormed Monday the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem, under the protection of the occupation police.
Eyewitnesses reported that the settlers entered Al-Aqsa in successive groups, conducted provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
The Israeli occupation forces turned the Old City of occupied Jerusalem into military barracks, deploying hundreds of its personnel on its streets, especially at the gates of Al-Aqsa, and imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers.
Regarding daily arrests in the West Bank, since last evening and until this morning, the occupation forces arrested at least 12 Palestinian citizens, including a woman from Hebron, as well as children, one of whom is injured, and former prisoners.
