CAIRO – Egypt’s Housing Minister Asem El Gazzar said total investments in New Sohag city amounted to EGP 5.7 billion so far.
The minister’s remarks came during his follow up of progress rate of different housing and service projects to meet the needs of inhabitants and increase development rates.
A total of 1,356 housing units are currently under construction, while 16,000 housing units have been already built in the city, he said.
The minister also shed light on great efforts for carrying out projects for building stations of power, drinking water and wastewater treatment in the city.
