New coronavirus cases, deaths recorded worldwide

WORLD CAPITALS – South Korea announced Saturday 4,416 coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours to raise the total to 635,235.The death toll hit 5,625 by adding 62 new deaths.

 

In China, the health authorities announced 175 new cases and zero deaths, bringing the total to 102,257 cases and 4,636 deaths.

 

The Malaysian Ministry of Health recorded 3,386 new infections and 25 deaths within 24 hours, bringing the total cases to 2,761,472, while the death toll reached 31,487.

 

Meanwhile, the German authorities announced 26,392 cases and 184 deaths.

 

This brings the total cases to 7,176,814, while the death toll hit 112,109 deaths.

 

Brazil continued to record high infections, as the Ministry of Health reported 10,282 new infections, bringing the total to 22,278,521, while 72 deaths were recorded, bringing the death toll to 619,056 deaths.
