Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said Wednesday that Egypt, a country rich in mineral wealth, is seeking to maximize the value-added through industries, such as electronic chips and semiconductors.
Settling such industries would help support the Egyptian economy and achieve the sustainable development goals, thus promoting Egypt’s chances to compete on the international markets, Madbouli said during a Cabinet meeting that he chaired earlier today.
The premier touched upon integrated studies that aim to maximize benefits from Egypt’s potentials, especially white and black ore sand, and boost its manufacturing capabilities.
He talked about an increased demand for electronic chips and semiconductors in the current time and the future.
