CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs Soha Gendi underscored the importance of the role of Egyptian expats as key partners in development, according to a press release by the ministry on Monday.
The Egyptian expats are using their various expertise to support plans of the Egyptian state in the New Republic, added Gendi in remarks at a meeting via video conferencing with Karim Ali, an Egyptian businessman in Finland and regional director of North Africa and Middle East in GMM Honkajoki Finland.
The meeting offered an important opportunity for probing the businessman’s ideas and proposals about his investment projects.
The press release said the meeting came as part of the ministry’s action strategy to communicate with all communities and Egyptian nationals abroad.
