CAIRO – Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Development Minister Ahmed Kamali on Monday said that Egypt attaches great significance to climate change issues and environment policies, in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
Kamali made the remarks while chairing the meetings of the working group assigned to assess the Green’s functions, within the framework of a strategy to develop the convenient work programme in North Africa.
The meeting was co-organized by International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Ministry of Planning.
Egypt has a set of strategic goals, including outlining the adequate action, functioning as well achieving a sustainable and balanced growth, Kamali said.
He added that the state gives a top priority to the production sectors, like the transformative industries, agriculture, communications and information technology.
