RAMALLAH – Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the holy mosque of Al Aqsa in occupied East Jerusalem early Monday under police protection.
The settlers entered the mosque compound in groups from the Magharibah Gate, and conducted provocative tours.
They also performed Talmudic rituals.
Extremist settler groups are calling for infiltrating the mosque on Tuesday and raising the occupation’s flag to mark the so-called “independence day”.
