Egyptian Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Moustafa met Wednesday with CEO of Saudi Arabia’s Mayar Holding Company Thamer al Rayes.
The meeting took up cooperation between the two sides in manufacturing, installing and maintaining elevators with the help of the Egypt Gulf Elevators & Escalators Company (EGGEEC).
Moustafa stressed the importance of implementing directives of the political leadership to maximise the use of local products and remove all obstacles hindering manufacture and production.
He made it clear that this meeting was meant to follow up on the production process and contracts signed between the two sides.
Moustafa said his Ministry and Mayar Holding Company also talked about the time needed to increase the local components.
