RAMALLAH – Scores of Jewish settlers, heavily guarded by Israeli police, stormed Al Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday amidst calls by the so-called “Temple Mount” organisations to step up storming operation on the occasion of the Passover.
Palestinian sources said nearly 110 settlers broke into Al Aqsa Mosque from Bab Al Magharba and carried out provocative tours.
They also performed Talmudic rituals.
Al Aqsa Mosque is subject to daily attacks by settlers in an attempt to exercise full control on the Mosque and divide it in terms of time and space.
