PORT SAID – Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted that the state exerts every effort to support the local industry.

Madbouli said today is the experimental operation for manufacturing different sizes of car tyres in the biggest factory in the industrial zone in Port Said.

In press statements after inspecting Pyramids Tires factory on Saturday, Madbouli, who is accompanied by ministers of local development and industry and Port Said governor, said he is to start a tour today in Port Said and Damietta, adding that he was keen on inspecting the biggest factories in the industrial region in Port Said.

Madbouli said that the factory was visited in September, adding that it is specialized in producing small tyres of motorcycles and rickshaws.

Premier Madbouli asserted that the industry is a priority for the government, pointing out that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi pays great attention to sustaining growth of industry.

He said that the government has the ability to handle the challenges via focusing on a group of economic productive industries and activities.

The government will focus in the coming period on the industry and specially with the businessmen, he said.

The government has removed a number of hindrances for Pyramids factory to reach the aspired production by facilitating the measures of issuing licenses, he said.

The government held a meeting last week with all the chambers of exports and export councils, he said, adding that the exporting sectors are considered industrial sectors.

He pointed out to a plan for the annual growth to be not less than 15% in all sectors until reaching the targeted percentage.

The government aims at increasing the percent of growth in export via integration and consistent system between the state and the private sector until the growth is achieved, he said.

Madbouli said that his office is always open to any serious investor, adding that all the investors are met to remove any hindrances facing them and enable them to achieve their targets.

There are big numbers of international companies that started to enter the country and established factories at the highest levels in less than a year and they started production and experimental operation, he said.
