WASHINGTON – The US forces intercepted dozens of missiles and UAVs en route to Israel, said an official with the Pentagon.
In statements to Alhurra TV channel on Sunday, the US official said that US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III discussed over phone the Iranian attacks.
A team from the US national security council continue to monitor the situation closely and to consult with allies and partners, added the official.
