Civil aviation minister: Collective work key to success of civil aviation system 10 - Egyptian Gazette

By Mohamed Attia

Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas attributed the success of Egypt’s civil aviation system to collective work and team spirit, emphasising that true success comes when efforts unite to elevate Egypt’s name high.

Speaking at a company iftar event for EgyptAir, Minister Abbas stated, “We will all leave our positions, but the entity and name will remain, and we must leave a clear mark for those who come after us.” He highlighted recent successes across all sectors of civil aviation, expressing pride in these achievements.

Minister Abbas noted the significant traffic density at Egyptian airports, with tourists and travelers witnessing real advancements in all services. He commended the full security measures in place and the exceptional service provided by frontline staff to passengers.

During the event, Minister Abbas thanked Hussein Sharif for his efforts during his tenure at EgyptAir, underscoring the fruitful co-operation that led to the appointment of Captain Ahmed Shanan as the current company president.

Additionally, Minister Abbas honored exemplary mothers within EgyptAir and EgyptAir Holding Company, recognizing their vital role in society and the values they instill in their children.
