Strong reaction with Jasmine Moussa’s argument before ICJ

Social media users widely reacted with the speech of the Egypt’s representative Jasmine Moussa, Legal Advisor at the office of the Foreign Minister at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Moussa condemned Israeli continued committing mascaras and genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip, which killed around 29.000 Palestinians and  forced around 1.3 ones to displace. This is considered a breach of the International Law.

A two-state solution is the lone way to achieve peace in Palestine, Moussa added on the 3rd day of hearings at the ICJ.

Egypt’s representative called for the necessity to end the long-standing Israeli occupation of Palestine and accused them of breaching the International Law in the land it has occupied since 1967.

“Israel is deliberately creating conditions that are intended to make life in Gaza impossible, imposing siege and starvation, including by impeding humanitarian access,” Moussa stressed.

Sun passes over statue of Ramses II

At dawn on Thursday, visitors from around the world observed the solar alignment phenomenon on the Holy of Holies shrine at Karnak Temple.

During the solar alignment, the sun rays enter the temple’s sanctum to light three of the four statues inside.

The three statues belong to King Ramses II and the deities Amun-Re and Re-Hor-Akhty, leaving the God of Darkness Ptah in the shadow to symbolise his connection to the underworld.

Visitors flocked to the temple to enjoy this unique phenomenon, which happens twice every year, on October 22nd and February 22nd.

It is a phenomenon that occurs annually to mark the start of the winter season.

This day coincides with the beginning of the germination season of the ancient Egyptians, where the crops sprout, the trees are left, the flowers bloom, and the farmers begin the hard work in the fields after the long flood season in which the cranks were idle.

This phenomenon was observed in the nineteenth century, but it did not receive any attention until it was focused on recently by archaeologists.

International Tourist Guide Day

On February 21, the world marks the “International Tourist Guide Day,” which is the anniversary of the founding of the World Federation of Tourist Guides (WFTGA) in 1985.

Tour guides are considered an essential pillar in the tourism industry, as it contributes to introducing culture and heritage, and are considered ambassadors of their country to visitors from all over the world, Saeed Al-Batouti, who is Economic Adviser to the World Tourism Organisation, said.

Bella Hadid surprised fans with photo of  Aboutrika

American fashion model Bella Hadid surprised her fans with a photo of Egyptian footballer Mohamed Aboutrika, posted on Instagram. The photo features Aboutrika’s famous way of supporting Palestinians; a T-shirt bearing a “ sympathy with Gaza” phrase.

Aboutrika displayed the T-shirt in front of the camera during an African Cup of Nations match between Egypt and Sudan in 2008 in Ghana.

Palestinian-origin Bella Hadid recently faced  challenges due to her support for his homeland. She asserted that she received killing threats, but she won’t stay silent concerning the outrageous actions occurred in Palestine.

Shamefully, Dior has replaced Hadid with another Israeli model as a brand ambassador.
