CAIRO – The Cabinet’s weekly meeting kicked off Thursday under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli at the government premises in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to discuss a set of political, economic and social files as well as developments on the international arena.
During the meeting, the Cabinet will tackle the schedule of meetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi this week, the participation of Madbouli in the World Governments Summit (WGS 2024) that took place in Dubai, alongside putting into effect measures to control the markets.
The meeting will also discuss laws and key ministerial decisions aiming at achieving progress at all levels, economic and social stability along with stimulating the investment.
It will tackle progress achieved in national projects carried out nation wide, including the projects of the presidential initiative “Decent Life”.
The meeting will follow up on implementation of directives of President Sisi, including decisions of the Supreme Council for Investment, the files of investment, industry, export, agriculture, monitoring markets, making industrial lands available to investors and the social security umbrella.
Topping the agenda are the files of upgrading the health, sports, education and transport sectors.
Measures adopted to protect low-income brackets and provide the needs of citizens in general will also figure high during the meeting.
