CAIRO – The cabinet media centre denied as groundless the news circulated about suspending umrah trips in February.
In a statement on Sunday, the center said it communicated with the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry which dismissed the news as baseless.
It called for verifying the authenticity of the news circulated through news and social media.
It called for obtaining information from official sources to avoid confusion.
