Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli greeted Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese on Christmas.
This came during Madbouli’s visit to Cathedral Headquarters in Abbasiya on Thursday on the occasion of Christmas.
The Premier expressed his appreciation of the efforts exerted by Pope Tawadros to preserve the unity of the Egyptian people, especially in the time of challenges.
For his part, Pope Tawadros lauded the visit of the premier, voicing support for the country’s officials in confronting the challenges of the nation.
