CAIRO- Head of the Egyptian Tribal and Family Council Sheikh Kamel Matar on Friday praised efforts of the Egyptian State in developing Sinai in various fields.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has put into force national strategies for the development of Sinai, he added in televised statements.
In previous eras, Sinai was marginalized and neglected. However, during Sisi’s era, the State created national strategies to develop Sinai. The government believes that the development of Sinai is an urgent necessity for renaissance of the Egyptian economy and achievement of sustainable development, Matar said.
President Sisi is keen on developing and reconstructing entire Sinai, he added.
