Egypt’s Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is among three players shortlisted for the continent’s top individual honor, which he won in 2017 and 2018.
The other contenders are Achraf Hakimi (Morocco, Paris Saint-Germain) and Victor Osimhen (Nigeria, Napoli).
The winner is decided following votes from a panel consisting of CAF Technical Committee, media professionals from Member Associations, Head Coaches & Captains of Member Associations and clubs involved in the group stages of the Interclub competitions.
The Awards Gala will take place on Monday, December 11, 2023, in Marrakech, Morocco.
