Mohamed Said Mahrous, chairman of Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, attended the World Airports Council meetings in Muscat, Oman, representing Africa.
The meetings were held as part of the World Airports Council Asia-Middle East conference, titled “Airports Innovate”. The event brought together airport leaders and technology companies to discuss the future of the airport industry and the adoption of innovative ideas to improve travel experiences, sustainability and safety.
Mahrous participated in a number of sessions, including one on the future of air travel in Africa. He spoke about the importance of investing in airport infrastructure and technology to meet the growing demand for air travel in the continent.
