Cairo- Head of the State Information Service Diaa Rashwan stressed on Thursday that Egyptian contacts and consultations are going on with all sides as regards the agreed-upon humanitarian pause in the Gaza Strip.
In press statements, Rashwan said current consultations are centered on the executive measures to be enacted by the two sides to enforce the pause.
He added that the pause is expected to come into force on Friday.
A humanitarian pause in Gaza has been secured through the successful joint mediation efforts of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States between Israel and Hamas.
