Egypt’s Minister of Emigration and Expatriate Affairs Soha Gendy arrived on Tuesday in Dubai on a visit to UAE as part of her foreign tour to urge Egyptians to take part in presidential elections 2024.
Egypt’s Consul General in Dubai Ambassador Sherif Diab welcomed the minister upon her arrival.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Emigration said the minister is expected to meet with top figures of the Egyptian community ahead of the start of expatriates’ elections, set for December 1 and 2.
The minister will also meet with a number of Egyptian investors in UAE to review the latest developments to establish an investment company for Egyptians abroad and the main Egyptian incentives to lure in foreign capitals in view of the state’s legislative reforms.
