Egypt’s Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said on Thursday an injured Palestinian child, facing the risk of leg amputation due to Israeli shelling, was transferred from Rafah to Nasser Institute for medical treatment.
In press statements, the minister said Sisi instructed the immediate transfer and treatment of Abdullah Kuhail after his plea went viral on social media platforms.
An ambulance equipped with a medical team transferred the child from Rafah terminal to Nasser and efforts are under way to start his treatment.
