Chief of staff attends 2nd field army training

Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Osama Askar attended training activities on appropriate methods for planning and managing combat operations conducted by one the Second Field Army formations together with Special Forces.

The drill falls within the framework of the Armed Forces training plans.

Commander of the Second Field Army Maj. Gen. Muhammad Rabie said in a speech the training aims to maintain the Second Field Army highest levels of readiness and preparedness to carry out any tasks to protect national security.

He posted the attendees of the practical demonstration, topographical guidance, the positions of the forces.

Lt. Gen. Askar conveyed greetings and appreciation of Minister of Defence Lt. Gen. Muhammad Zaki to all soldiers, praising the distinguished performance and high combat efficiency demonstrated by the fighters of the Second Field Army.
