Lenovo, the global leader in smart transformation, has chosen Mideast Communication Systems (MCS) as an authorized distributor for its datacenter and cloud computing products in Egypt and several African countries. This partnership aims to provide added value to customers in the field of datacenters, servers, storage units, networks, updatable and scalable software and services. The announcement was made on the sidelines of the GITEX Global exhibition and conference, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from October 16-20, at the Dubai World Trade Center.

In response to this announcement, Tarek Shabaka, CEO at MCS, stated: “We are delighted with this collaboration, which enables us to provide a range of new competitive advantages to our customers based on the innovative solutions and products from Lenovo, which will contribute to accelerating the digital transformation in various sectors of private companies, institutions, and government entities that adopt a clear vision towards achieving development goals through the digitization of all services, management systems, and operations. Shabaka added that this partnership reflects MCS’s clear objective to provide a unique experience that aligns with customer requirements and keeps pace with the latest global trends in the data centers and networking industry.”

Alaa Bouab, General Manager of Infrastructure Solutions in Middle East, Turkey, and Africa at Lenovo commented on the partnership: “Lenovo proudly announces its strategic partnership with MCS, which enables us to expand our presence in Egypt and several African countries as a trusted distributor of advanced datacenter and cloud computing solutions. Together, we provide innovation, reliability, and performance to companies in the region, enabling them to achieve growth and success.”

Lenovo continues to showcase its innovations at the GITEX 2023 exhibition platform, in line with the theme of the global event, “A Year of Imagining Artificial Intelligence in Everything.” Lenovo leaves its mark through a comprehensive approach that extends across a distinguished experimental region. We are proud to expand our partnership with MCS to create sustainable value for our customers and partners across the African continent.
