1st-time surprises will be marking fair’s silver jubilee
Trade Fairs International, the organiser of Cairo ICT, the leading annual event in the ICT sector in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, has unveiled its 25th edition taking place from November 7 to 10 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre – EIEC in New Cairo, under the slogan “The Digital Challenge”.
Since its first launch in 1996, Cairo ICT has enjoyed a regional and international high status, being the most inspiriting event for those interested in the ICT sector during the last 25 years. H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi – President of Egypt – had inaugurated Cairo ICT six years in a row. Through the exhibition, the president launched several local and regional initiatives to support the plans and strategies of digital transformation in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa.
The launch of the 25th edition of Cairo ICT reaffirms its transformation into a global platform that attracts the attention of all those wishing to develop their businesses and showcase their latest services, solutions and applications in the ICT sector.
As part of the silver jubilee celebration, this year’s edition witnesses several surprises for the first time during the event, as Cairo ICT is one of the oldest exhibitions in Egypt and the only one held annually despite all the difficult circumstances.
Cairo ICT 2021 will host the 8th edition of the e-Payment and Innovative Financial Inclusion Expo and Forum (PAFIX), with boarder participation of many leading government and global banks, to review their IT-based banking solutions under the umbrella of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Being a global platform and an all-inclusive forum for all people active or interested in the ICT field, the Cairo ICT 2021 will continue to support innovation and creativity through the “Innovation Arena”, which will be held for the 6th time. This came as part of its historic mission to facilitate the entry of foreign investors into the local market, being an open forum for young innovators and entrepreneurs to exhibit their innovative projects by organising events and discussion sessions to reach a thorough understanding of the market and its needs and open up broader horizons for innovators.
Cairo ICT continues to surprise this year with its first Connecta Fair, featuring the key players in the mobile phones and e-games industry.
With the IT industry ongoing growth and evolution, Cairo ICT stands out as the most important and renewed annual event that interacts with new innovations, delivering an extraordinary display experience that accommodates the latest technologies and connects industry players. It also enables exhibitors to grow in Egypt and the region by developing business partnerships and delivering their products to more than a million interested visitors over the previous sessions of the fair.

The Secured and Smart Documents complex, inaugurated by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi last April, will participate in the exhibition for the first time, in addition to the Administrative Capital, which will present the latest state-of-the-art technology it reached.
The e-Payment and Innovative Financial Inclusion Expo and Forum (PAFIX) will be attended by major banks and financial institutions such as CIB Bank, National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque de Caire, Housing & Development Bank, QNB, and for the first time, Agriculture Bank of Egypt.
This edition also witnesses Visa International returning to take part in the exhibition, in addition to several financial solutions companies.
On the occasion of the silver jubilee of Cairo ICT 2021, a new sector called “Museum Tech” will be launched, showcasing the latest technologies used in new museums in Egypt and worldwide.
