Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Thursday a host of graduates of the Presidential Leadership Programme (PLP) to follow up on their contributions to presidential initiatives around Egypt.
The president especially discussed the contributions the graduates of the programme were making to the Decent Life.

He also reviewed efforts made by the government to make the necessary links between the Decent Life initiative and the national strategy for supporting small and medium industries.
Meanwhile, the graduates of the PLP presented a number of proposals for linking the initiative, on one hand, and the strategy, on the other.
This can be done, they said, through the establishment of integrated industrial parks in the Egyptian countryside, especially in areas covered by the Decent Life initiative.

The president highlighted the importance of connecting all presidential initiatives together.
These initiatives, he said, also have to be connected with the strategy for developing small and medium industries.

President Sisi also underscored the importance of developing the human capital through the formulation of a comprehensive system for the development of human resources.
Efforts in this regard, the president said, have to increase job creation and reduce imports.

During the meeting, the president also reviewed a number of reports on progress in the implementation of the Decent Life initiative, Presidency Spokesman, Ambassador Bassam Radi, said.
He added that the president highlighted the importance of formulating specific mechanisms for overcoming obstacles facing the implementation of the initiative.
