Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea asserted on Thursday the keenness of her ministry to boost co-operation with all Arab investment institutions and entities and carry out tangible productive projects that serve national economy, contribute to creating more job opportunities and provide high-quality national goods at competitive prices.
Gamea said the ministry provides all forms of support to all Arab and international investment projects to pump actual investments into the Egyptian market and benefit from the tremendous available investment opportunities.
This came during Gamea’s meeting with Head of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development Mohamed bin Obaid al Mazrouei and his accompanying delegation in which they reviewed a number of current and future projects in Egypt.
Gamea said the expansion plans of the authority in the Egyptian market reflects the big trust in the importance of investing in Egypt as one of the most important markets in the Middle East.
The government welcomes the new projects to be established in Egypt during the coming period in the fields of cheese production, tuna and beans canning and manufacturing, farming and corn and soy beans production.
For his part, Mazrouei asserted that Egypt is one of the main countries in which the authority plans to expand its activities and projects within the coming stage, pointing out that the authority’s projects in the Arab countries aim at achieving Arab food security via achieving sustainable agricultural development in the Arab world.
